Welcome to the Colton Joint Adult Education School

Angela Hatter Principal of Adult Education

I am delighted and honored to have served the CJUSD community of adults as principal of CJAE for the past two years.  In my 30 years of experience in adult education, I have been dedicated to enhancing adult education programs that help adults achieve new heights in their academic and career goals.

We have a wonderful team of teachers, staff and partners at CJAE who spend their days, evenings and some weekends providing a host of services to students and to the community.  At CJAE, we provide language and academic support; adult diploma, GED and Citizenship preparation; career exploration and training; college transition services; and we also provide youth support services for ages 16-24 through an on-site partnership with EQUUS Youth Forward.  In spring semester, we plan to bring additional on-site services to campus through our partnership with the East Valley America’s Job Center of California.

My goal as principal of CJAE is to provide students with a valuable education, a variety of resources and wrap-around services so that they can be in the best position to create a sustainable living for themselves and for their families.

Welcome to our CJAE Community!

Angela Hatter, CJAE Principal
